QR codes and displays
One printed code gets people into the queue. One screen keeps the room informed.
Putting a code out
- 1
Open the QR Code tab
Your queue has a code from the moment the business is created. Nothing to generate before you can start. - 2
Print it large and put it where people arrive
Eye level at the door or on the counter. Phone cameras read it from roughly a metre away, so bigger is genuinely better. - 3
Test it with your own phone
Scan it before the first customer does. You should land on your queue page with your business name at the top.
What the code does and does not do
Opens a web page
No app download, no account, no password. The camera opens a browser and that is the whole journey.
Single use per person
A code cannot be reused to join twice over. One scan puts one customer in the queue.
Can be replaced
Regenerating creates a new code and switches the old one off, so a photographed or copied sign stops working.
Pairs with a display
A separate full-screen view for a TV or tablet in the waiting area, showing who is up next.
Regenerating invalidates every printed copy
Once you regenerate, every sign, flyer and laminated card carrying the old code is dead. Reprint before you regenerate, not after.
The waiting-room display
Open the display view on any screen with a browser and leave it there. It shows who is being served and who is next, updating on its own with no interaction. It is read-only, so nobody can change your queue by walking up to the TV.
