Scheduling
MaxDynamic Scheduling
Turn a list of names into a timetable. Every walk-in gets a real slot you can move by dragging.
What changes when you turn it on
Without it, a lane is an ordered list: first in, first served. With it, each lane becomes a calendar for the day. Every waiting customer occupies an actual block of time, so you can see the shape of the afternoon rather than just its length — and you can rearrange it by dragging, the same way you would move a meeting.
Two switches, not one
In Settings. Turns the whole feature on for your business. Nothing is scheduled until this is on.
On each provider. Decides whether that particular lane runs as a calendar. Both switches must be on for a lane to schedule.
You can run it on one lane and not the others
Working the calendar
- 1
New arrivals land at the end
A walk-in joining is placed after the last block on the lane, so the running order is never silently rewritten by someone turning up. - 2
Drag to move someone
Pick up a block and drop it at a new time, or on a different lane entirely. Dropping on another lane reassigns them to that member of staff. - 3
Block out time you are not available
Add a busy block for lunch, a meeting or a procedure. Scheduling works around it instead of booking over it. - 4
Let the wall fill the gaps
Time you have not committed can be filled automatically, so the calendar reflects real availability rather than optimistic empty space.
The three settings that shape it
Dynamic Scheduling settings
| Control | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Appointment block length | How long one booked appointment occupies on the calendar. | Default 15 min |
| Walk-in start offset | How far ahead of now the first walk-in slot may be placed. A larger number gives people time to arrive. | Default 30 min |
| Walk-in spacing | The gap between consecutive walk-in slots. Never shorter than the service time of the lane, so blocks cannot overlap. | Default 15 min |
