Running the live queue
The four buttons you press all day, and the three you press occasionally.
The everyday four
Takes the person at the top of the queue and marks them as being served. Their screen turns green and they are notified it is their turn.
Marks the customer you are serving as finished. They leave the queue and are counted as served in your analytics.
For someone who is not there yet. Pushes them down the queue and adds a short delay rather than removing them outright.
Takes someone out of the queue immediately. Recorded as a no-show, which feeds your show rate.
Skip twice and they are gone
The occasional three
Reorders one customer by a single position. Use it when someone should be seen sooner without rebuilding the whole queue.
Stops new people joining. Everyone already waiting stays in the queue, so you can close the door and still work through the room.
Empties the queue in one action. Intended for the end of the day. It cannot be undone.
What each status means
Queue statuses
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Waiting | In line, not yet called. This is where everyone starts. |
| Serving | Currently with you. Set by Serve Next. The customer sees a green screen. |
| Completed | Finished and served. This is the status your analytics counts as a served customer. |
| No-show | Called but never appeared, or removed by you. Counts against your show rate. |
| Skipped | Passed over once and moved down. Still in the queue. |
| Cancelled | The customer left the queue themselves from their own phone. |
